A good lost-game investigation should get stricter as new evidence arrives. A candidate that shares the same aesthetic is not enough if the player recognizes it and knows the layout was different.

The clues that still matter

RULED OUT
JOVIAL Playground is not the game
JOVIAL Playground was initially a reasonable lead because it was released in 2021 and officially describes itself with dreamcore, weirdcore, kidcore, and oddcore tags.
That lead is now rejected. The original player had played JOVIAL extensively and recognized it immediately. They specifically remembered the missing game as less playground/daycare-like, with a more direct dreamcore atmosphere and a different beginning built around a real bar and decorative front door.
CORRECTION
The earlier location evidence was too broad
The first version of this investigation treated a shared JOVIAL/Dream World wiki location index as if every listed room proved a JOVIAL match. That was not careful enough. A shared wiki can document locations across more than one related experience.
LobbyPick is no longer using the bar and subway entries from that shared index as proof that JOVIAL matches this case.
CURRENT LEAD
[Legacy] Dream world by ROSKAA123 fits the direction better
[Legacy] Dream world is another experience by ROSKAA123. Roblox currently describes it as an exploration game that is no longer updated.
The community documentation for this specific Dream World says it was created on December 12, 2020 and describes it as a collection of liminal-space rooms based on dreamcore and weirdcore imagery, with creatures called Inertiae throughout the world. That makes it a much better aesthetic and time-period fit than JOVIAL after the player's correction.
STILL MISSING
The strongest physical clues are not verified yet
Dream World is only a lead. We still need direct evidence for the remembered bar near spawn, the decorative front door, the subway route, and especially the small yellow talking character.
Until those details can be tied to old gameplay, archived screenshots, or a reliable room/character page for the exact experience, the correct status is unconfirmed.
